Dr. Sergio Campos, MD

Dr. Sergio Campos, MD is an accomplished medical professional with a passion for enhancing lives through his extensive knowledge and expertise. Driven by a desire to make a difference, he embarked on his journey at the prestigious Universidad de Costa Rica, where he earned a Bachelor of Medical Sciences and a Doctor of Medicine degree. Throughout his medical journey, Dr. Campos ventured to Harvard Medical School, where he honed his skills and broadened his horizons as an Intern and Medical Student in Neurology and Infectious Diseases.

Driven by a thirst for knowledge and leadership, Dr. Campos pursued further education at the Instituto Centroamericano de Administración Pública (ICAP), where he obtained a master’s degree in health administration. He was at the forefront of the battle against COVID-19, working tirelessly at the Caja Costarricense del Seguro Social – Centro Especializado en Atención a Pacientes con COVID-19 (CEACO-CENARE). There, he played a crucial role as a General Physician, skillfully managing patients suffering from mild to severe cases of COVID-19, including ICU care.

In 2022, Dr. Campos served as a General Physician in the Emergency Room at two of Costa Rica’s largest hospitals—Hospital San Juan de Dios and Hospital Clínica Bíblica. His thirst for knowledge and dedication to medical excellence led him to pursue certifications in various specialized areas. Among these certifications are Basic Life Support, Obstetrics, Emergency Department Airway Management, Nephrology, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Transcranial Ultrasound. His commitment to continuous learning and expanding his expertise showcases his unwavering curiosity and determination to provide top-notch medical care.

Armed with a unique blend of emergency medical experience and administrative acumen, his medical journey took him down the path of regenerative medicine. Currently, Dr. Campos serves as a Physician and Coordinator of Regenesis Enhance and Cognitive Treatments at the prestigious Regenerative Medicine Institute (RMI) in Costa Rica. His expertise in this cutting-edge field allows him to deliver transformative treatments that positively impact the lives of countless patients.
